Here is a meal plan I would use on the three day sugar detox. Note that this is a demonstration of what I did to overcome sugar addiction and obesity, not a professional recommendation.
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 Tablespoon lemon juice in 6-8 ounces of water with a few drops of stevia to cut the sourness.
Breakfast: Two poached eggs cooked in butter, 1 cup sauteed spinach, 1/4 cup salsa.
Lunch: Large mixed green salad with oil and vinegar dressing, 2 chicken thighs, more of the spinach I made at breakfast, 1/4 cup salsa.
Dinner: London Broil, 1 cup roasted broccoli, mixed green salad with oil and vinegar dressing.
I would manage sugar cravings or hunger pangs by having more protein and/or a cup of chicken broth.
The cravings were typically gone within three days. By day four it was time to add a bit more variety. The shopping list is here:
